A Taste of Rilao

An island lost for a century
Rilao is a city spread across many islands, in an atoll that is part of a remote and hidden archipelago that for close to one hundred years has been kept in isolation. For the first time since its founding, the island was revealed to the world in 2014. The Museum aims to document its culture and history.
Curated by individuals or collaborators, each exhibit contributes new insight into the world of Rilao and is categorized by year, institution and topic. There are currently 58 exhibits on display.
