In a dating app, connected to “the cloud” which contains all of your personal data such as photos, bank records and doctor’s information, you get to know each other by unlocking each other’s data. So each round, you play to unlock a subject (ranging from favorite food to financial data) and only one person will win the information. You play on until you both know half of each other’s data. This game in turn leads to meta games, in the sense that Aleans have started to actively influence the available data. They want to hide their most private issues and therefore, trying to misdirect others, their life has become one big roleplay game.
